What will I experience at Lorenzen Studios?

What a great question! In our first 12 weeks as a studio, we have offered:

* 9 yoga practices per week (encompassing five different class types)

* 3 Spanish classes per week (beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for adults)

* A community-building craft night

* A Yoga & Reiki class

* An introduction to the Japanese Tea Ceremony

* Monthly crystals classes

* Several pop-up classes including Restorative Yoga, YogaSculpt, and a class with a guest instructor

All of these events have been very well received and will be offered, and expanded upon, in the near future. For example, Yoga & Reiki will be back in May, in June we will have Restorative Yoga with live cello, very soon we plan to offer both a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and a Reiki Level 1 training, and in addition to hosting another session on the Japanese tea ceremony we will also offer a Japanese calligraphy workshop for writing our affirmations.

Whichever activities you choose, you can count on them to be inclusive, expansive, and collective experiences with a diverse group of like-minded people lifting one another up in their individual journeys to becoming their best selves. You can also expect to learn something new (the lore behind a given concept or practice) and maybe even cultivate some zen (a state of meditative calm, or equanimity).

Experiences at Lorenzen Studios are inclusive

Our yoga studio welcomes everyone, offering a space of calm, comfort, and joy. Our multi-level classes honor each individual’s unique mind-body connection, embracing diversity and learning from one another’s wisdom.

Experiences at Lorenzen Studios are expansive

We know that yoga is much more than a physical practice on a mat, and we are committed to learning about and living all 8 limbs of the tree of yoga.

Experiences at Lorenzen Studios are collective

While each individual in our collective is on their own yoga journey, our supportive community-oriented atmosphere takes individuals even further; we are better together!

If you are new to our family, welcome! And to the veterans who have taken class with Charla over the years before she opened her own studio: thank you for welcoming the new members of our family in with open minds, arms, and hearts!

We hope to see you all soon and often at the studio, and want to extend an official invitation to the Informational Session here on Saturday 5/3 at noon for the May 2026 SPAIN wellness retreat! This Mediterranean getaway is for you if you are looking to expand your cultural horizons with the help of a bilingual guide who knows Spain very well and make transformative progress on your physical, emotional, social, and intellectual wellness. Look for more information & details coming to our website soon!
