Charla Lorenzen

See class descriptions below and the pricing & schedule here. Most of our classes are taught by the studio owner, Charla Lorenzen, an experienced ACE-certified fitness instructor and yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training and more than 2,000 hours of yoga taught (E-RYT 500). Her mission is to inspire others to never stop learning about and practicing a yogic lifestyle as a means to reconnect to their inner light and also to all living beings, in turn making the world a more harmonious place where all are healthy, happy & free.

Ken Kneas

Ken received his 200 hour, vinyasa style yoga teacher training and certification as accredited by Yoga Alliance at Living Yoga and Wellness in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. A student of Patanjali's 8 Limbs and Yoga Sutras, Ken has led classes for all experience levels within group fitness, in-studio, and virtual settings. His classes promote mindfulness movement and meditation while providing an integrative, cleansing, mind-body experience through incorporation of all of The 8 Limbs of Yoga.

Energy Flow

A powerful 60-minute Vinyasa Yoga class set to upbeat music and designed to make you sweat and push your physical limits. In this class, like all of our classes, we recognize that “hard work” looks different on different people due to all of the factors that make each of us unique, so no comparison allowed.

Go with the Flow

A 60-minute multi-level Vinyasa Yoga class set to inspiring music in which each student is encouraged to listen to their own inner wisdom and decide when and how to move. While the intention is to “flow” (meaning the postures are presented in a way that keeps you moving from one posture to the next), everything can be as varied as the people in the class. No one in this class is striving to win gold medals in Olympic gymnastics or trying out for a synchronized dance team; just be you!

Beginner's Series

A series of 60-minute Vinyasa Yoga classes meant for true beginners. You will learn about the philosophical underpinnings of the amazing science of well-being known as yoga and start to practice common yoga postures, breathing techniques, and more. After taking this series, you can take it again &/or start taking a broader range of classes.

Cloud of Bliss

A Yin Yoga meets Restorative Yoga experience that will leave you feeling like you had a nap! For this class, wear warm layers and bring everything you need to build yourself a cozy nest that will support your body weight in both the intense, long-held Yin postures and the gentle backbends, forward bends, twists, inversions, and resting postures of Restorative Yoga. Suggested items to bring include a yoga bolster (or two), two yoga blocks, a small pillow or folded towel, a cozy blanket, an eye pillow.

Growing Bolder

A 60-minute multi-level Hatha Yoga class featuring all the supports and none of the obstacles! We use chairs, bolsters, blocks, straps, and the studio walls to make yoga accessible to people not able to get up and down off the floor with ease (but we will work toward making that easier because it is an essential skill in case of a fall). Please bring indoor shoes if you are not comfortable being barefoot.

Inspiration Station

A yoga class that can be a combination of any of the class formats we offer complemented by mantras, mudras, pranayama and guided meditation.

Restoration Ritual

Our signature Yin class, Restoration Ritual, is meant to help you slow down and engage in deep stretching to upregulate your parasympathetic nervous system and downregulate your sympathetic nervous system. Restorative Yoga pose options will be provided in case particular Yin Yoga poses are inaccessible.

Yoga en español

Una clase de yoga de 60 minutos con el mismo formato que “Beginner’s Series” y/o “Go with the Flow” pero en español. Si hay bastante demanda, podremos añadir otra clase para que haya una clase de cada tipo.

Yoga Sculpt

Yoga Sculpt is a dynamic and invigorating 60-minute class that combines traditional yoga poses with strength training elements to enhance your fitness journey. Bring a pair or two of small hand weights, a yoga mat, and yoga block. Be prepared to sculpt your muscles using resistance bands and bodyweight exercises, too! Bringing a water bottle and sweat towel is highly recommended. Please bring indoor shoes if you are not comfortable being barefoot.

Cardio & Calm

This unique class combines ½ hour of invigorating cardiovascular work with ½ hour of yoga poses, breath work, and stretches for a “just right” blend to enhance your physical fitness and mental well-being. Please bring indoor shoes for the first 1/2 of class.

Soul Flow

Experience a transformative journey in our Soul Flow yoga class, which features a dynamic sequence of Sun Salutations, yoga poses, and breath work that flow seamlessly together and are set to a playlist that is guaranteed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit.

Lore & Zen

A 75-minute experience that includes a 60-minute Go with the Flow class followed by an optional dharma dialogue for digging deeper into the yogic philosophy behind the class theme and discussing it with the others in the class. Like a mini book club!
