Via an engaging simulated immersion approach tailored to their proficiency level, students will participate in speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural learning in Spanish in a fun and supportive atmosphere during an 8-week session that culminates in a meaningful final task.
All sections need a minimum of 4 people. Students can add, drop, or move to another class during the first week. The price is the same if you start in week 1 or week 2. A refund can be granted if you drop the class before your second class; please note that the registration fee is non-refundable.
We do not have a placement exam, but please contact us at charla@lorenzenstudios for support. They will expand their ability to talk about the past and the future, and to create with language. At the Advanced level, students will participate in interactions on topics of both personal and broader interest, narrate and describe in present, past, and future time frames, and handle more complicated and abstract situations using paragraph-level communication. Reading, writing, and listening activities will focus on understanding authentic texts (those made by proficient language learners for one another, not for language learners) at levels higher than the students can produce themselves.
