What: A seamless wellness and cultural retreat offering transformative experiences including daily yoga and/or fitness options, personal growth opportunities, and time & space for contemplation, led by an experienced yoga & fitness instructor and Spanish professor who is bilingual in English & Spanish and loves everything about Spain.
When: 6/22 - 7/1 2027
Where: the Costa Blanca of Spain
Cost: $2,500 per person for double-occupancy (excluding your flight, optional excursions, snacks and meals other than the two catered dinners served at Oodles retreat center, and any transportation other than the trains and the shuttle buses listed below)- option to upgrade to your own room for $80/night if arranged in advance. 50% down will reserve your spot. If you choose to put ½ down, your payment method will be charged the second ½ on 5/1/27.
Draft itinerary (subject to change if weather, venue issues, or other circumstances require it):
Tuesday 6/22/27 travel to Philly and take an evening flight from Philly to Madrid
Wednesday 6/23/27 (morning) arrive in Madrid and spend the day and night there (hotel TBD)
Opening Circle, free time in the city (recommended: tapa bar, flamenco show, art museums like the Prado)
Thursday 6/24/27 (late morning) take a train from Madrid to Alicante and spend 2 nights there (hotel TBD)
Optional excursions and/or stay and enjoy the nearby beach, market, etc.
Saturday 6/26/27 (mid-afternoon) take a shuttle bus from Alicante to Oodles retreat center in Benissa (4:00 check-in)
Included: a catered 3-course meal the first and last nights
We can hire drivers to take us to the grocery store to get what everyone needs; Oodles has all the cooking appliances we could need
Optional excursions and/or stay and enjoy the pool, tennis court, and lovely grounds
Wednesday 6/30/27 (late morning; 10:00 check-out) take a shuttle bus from Oodles retreat center to Alicante train station and then a train to Madrid
Closing circle and spend the night (hotel TBD)
Thursday 7/1/2027 Fly home or stay and experience more of Spain and beyond
